Winner of Teddy Award for Best Queer Feature Film at 2020 Berlin International Film Festival
In this award-winning drama by German-Iranian director Faraz Shariat, the bright-eyedness of youth battles with hard-hitting themes of asylum, acceptance, and ethnic identity. When German-born Iranian Parvis is caught shoplifting, his easy-going lifestyle based on Grindr and pop culture slams to a halt. He is assigned to do community service at a refugee centre, where he meets Amon and Banafshe, a brother and sister who fled from Iran to seek a new life in Germany. As Parvis and Amon fall in love, the three develop a full-hearted friendship in the face of adversity.
